If you are like me and can understand the lingo, you were probably cracking up while watching District 9, while everybody else around you was sitting in silence, asking why the guy next to them is laughing their butt off! It is because of the slang and language that is used in District 9, is understood all Southern Africans and thus its complexity.

I have just started a revamped look on my BBQ blog, bbqmasala.com and to kick things off I decided to write about a recipe that has made south africa very famous worldwide. It all started at a restaurant in South Africa, called Nando’s and the rest is history.

Apply as a Volunteer for World Cup in 2010 South Africa

I just applied to work as a volunteer for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. They have loads of things one can do and I’m sure they need some talent. Whether I get a position or not, I am going to be there, so it really doesn’t matter, although it will be a perk. So go ahead APPLY!
