Hans Christian Ørsted: Google Doodle of 08/14/2009

Have you noticed the new Google Doodle on their homepage.  I was reading that this logo to was made to recognize the birthday of Hans Christian Ørsted.

Ørsted was a physicist, chemist, and also a poet, but he was best known for his discovery of electromagnetism.  Heres the wikipedia link to his bio
